Role
The role mainly focuses on developing and maintaining an adequate and distinctive online e-commerce store from start to finish on the Shopify platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop e-commerce websites by following industry best practices.
- Focus on UI/UX criteria to build a unique and appealing user interface.
- Replace the existing themes by designing custom themes as per the criteria.
- Develop custom features for the existing website.
- E-commerce store migration to the Shopify platform.
- Integrate third-party services and apps for extra functionality.
- Conduct regular testing and maintenance to enhance performance.
- Keep up to date on the modern tech tools and trends that relate to Shopify.
Skills Required
- Must be aware of e-commerce web workflow.
- In-depth understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Proven understanding of Liquid tempting language.
- Proficient in diverse programming languages.
- Knowledge of Version Control for Shopify theme development.
- Knowledge of PHP scripting, JSON REST API, and Google Analytics.
- Expertise in jQuery, vanilla JavaScript, ES2015/ES6, and other trending JS frameworks.
- Proficient in working with third-party services and APIs.
- Expertise to create custom themes.
- It will be the cherry on top if the developer specializes in other E-commerce platforms, like Magento, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce.
- Understanding of SEO and marketing tools.
- Ability to execute the project before the deadline.
- Self-motivated and fluent in communication to collab with the team.
Educational Qualification
- BE/B-Tech (CE/IT), BCA, B Sc. (IT)
- ME/M-Tech (CE/IT), MCA, M Sc. (IT)
- Any graduate, post-graduate, or diploma degree holder with excellent knowledge of Computer
- Science or Information Technology
